The Nike Lunarlite Vapor Tour tennis shoe is one of the lightest and fastest tennis shoes on tour. The shoe reflects the ultimate in Nike technology to provide elite tennis players the advantage of speed. The shoe is the weapon of choice of all-times champion Roger Federer and will be presented on England's grass at Wimbledon. As in many years before Roger again is the defending champion at Wimbledon after having beaten Andy Roddick in 2009. The tennis shoe is also available in the color white/blue SSN327.

Upper
Synthetic-leather and mesh upper with Flywire technology for breathable, ultra-lightweight support.

Outsole
The outsole is a full length XDR (extra durable rubber) in a traditional herringbone pattern for extreme durability and traction on all surfaces.
To support the side-to-side movement and quick sprints central to the sport, the tennis shoe features a specially designed frame in the heel and an outrigger on the lateral side of the outsole.

Midsole
Full-length lunarlite technology for a responsive, low to the ground, softer and more flexible ride.

Technology

Flywire: helps provide ultra-lightweight support and comfort for the foot. It gets its strength from thin Nylon fibers strategically placed on the upper of the shoe to hold the foot in place, helping to reduce slippage during activity. This allows for a massive reduction in weight because material is used only where it’s needed for structure.

LunarLite: lunarlite foam is extremely lightweight and highly responsive. It enables lightweight performances without sacrifising stability and cushioning

The official colour of the tennis shoe is white/metallic gold.
